Bourbiz announces Bastards’ Road Project as one of the winners for the 23k Veteran Vegas Business Giveaway from the Victor 12, Inc. Burt Williams Memorial Fund!


For the Non Profit Categories:
The Bastards' Road Project @bastardsroadproject which is A non-profit dedicated to taking veterans on long-distance hikes to heal the wounds of war. In 2004, Jon Hancock fought in the Battle of Ramadi with 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines.

They suffered one of the highest casualty rates in the Iraq War. 1 in 4 was wounded or killed. Jon struggled to reacclimate when he came home in 2009. In 2015, Jon embarked on an epic journey to save himself – 5,800 miles across the country... on foot. This is where the Road project was started.

The MSG Dan Lovell Foundation is a non-profit initiative aimed at combating veteran suicides through a variety of automotive-based programs.
For the For-Profit Category: @militaryfreshnetwork is the grant winner! “The Military Fresh Network was created to show & prove to the world that we can serve our country, yet remain the unique individuals we were created to be”.

Each of the winners will be flown to Las Vegas next week to be presented with the checks at Bourbiz Las Vegas on Jan 21st! Congrats to all the winners and see you in Vegas for a memorable night of veteran and military spouse networking!
